My little bio...
I grew up in Milton Vermont, a small town north of Burlington and just south of St. Albans. I moved there with my familiy in 1977 and stayed there until 1987 (feels like a lot more than 10 years). Anyway, I went to the milton schools (Milton Elementary, Milton Middle School and Milton Jr/Sr High School); I think the middle school I went to is no longer a school (it was old when I was there).
While in VT, I skied a lot - learned to ski at Smuggler's Notch; I started with a Milton school system program. We were dropped off early on Saturdays and it consisted of a lesson in the morning and free skiing in the afternoon.
In 1987, my familiy was transferred to Raleigh, NC (lived in Rougemont actually). I finished my last year of high school in Durham, NC (Northern High School). After that, I went into the cooking business - start as a dishwasher. I moved up until I was the Chef at a the Durham Hilton. During this time, I cooked for numerous 'famous' people: President Clinton, Susan Lucci, Richard Dreyfus, ...
Then I decided that cooking is not what I wanted in life and enroled in NCSU (North Carolina State University) in the computer science program. Once I graduated, I joined a small private company (ateb, inc) in the telcom field - the went well and I learned a lot; I stayed there for two years then moved to Infinite Technology Inc - I was there for 5 years and was part of an accusition. I then started working at Microsoft on the Visual Studio team (specifically, the Team Foundation Server team). I have been working here for about 3 years now.
During this time, I got married and now have two wonderful kids (Conor, Gabriel) - you can see them on my main page.
